It had rained the evening before, so this resident of Burano, Italy had hung her / his umbrella outside to dry on this sunny morning.
It strikes me that if the umbrella were in use, it would be flipped over. Therefore, as it is drying, the rainy side is pointing down, now, and the sunny side must be up.
I like the geometric shapes in this shot along with the colors and different textures. But it doesn't have the "zing" in it, unlike the previous boat shot.
Can the colors and sharpness/contrast be tweaked at all? Just some ideas, Mark
