I like this photo.
The shape of the subject mimics the shape of the trees and landscape. v.g.

I believe that your questions are best asked and answered in the donor forum.
Also, my personal opinion is that if I didn't like a particular photo project, ie fall color 2001, that I just wouldn't enter a photo in that project.
As for this particular shot, it is very good. Allthough what's with the advertising?

Good photograph Gabriella.
The colour adds to the moody feeling.'
Strangely the satellite dishes are pointing at the moon. I wonder if they are recieving any extra-terrestrial messages.

Thanks Melisa.
I thought about cloning this out, it is some sort of water plant, but I didn't want to do anything to this image, other than sharpening a little for e-mail purposes. And besides, this is the only way to tell whether or not the shot is upside down.
Your comments are welcome.

Great shot Jin,
The diagonals are the foundation, and all the interesting details are built on them.
Ancient architecture, and yet something art decco about it. Probably the colours.

Hi Mark,
Thanks for your comments. As for listening behind me, not really necessary as I had my dog with me and he is terrified of thunder and trains. As long as his tail is up I know there are no trains or storms within 100 miles.

What an interesting place.
So many different kinds of flora. I hope you took a lot of shots.
Good composition on this photo.

Great shot Mark, good tones and comp.
The street light at 90 degree angle seems to add something to the photo, perhaps a reference point for the different angles of the roofs, I don't know, any how, it works.

Hi David,
This kind of reminds me of my "through frosted glass" series. Did you do much ps work on this?
It looks kind of grainy, maybe the sand is very coarse.
Any how, I like it.

Hi Phillip.
Nice shot.I like the way that you placed the vegetation in the frame, and the pastels.
It's amazing how the desert and the arctic are visually quite alike.

Hi Gregory.
This is a great landscape.
At first it seems that there should be some sort of a subject in the water, and yet that would sort of spoil the pristine-ness of the photograph.
My kinda shot.

Yes the trees are dead and look burned.
Over the decades muskeg swamps advance and recede and this is an example of an advancing one. In a few years it will recede and the trees will again take over. Thanks for commenting

What an interesting picture.
Good composition and contrast.
Looks like moonlight instead of sunlight.
If I were to nit-pick, I would say that you could have placed the subject a little to the left,to kind of balance out the feeling of the mast falling to the right, it has to have somewhere to go if it falls. Sort of like if a person were walking or running in the photo, they need some space to move into.
But like I said, that's just nit-picking.
I like the shot.

Good depth of field.
I would have cropped a little off the top and left side, but over all a good shot.
One minor correction, they are not Monarchs, they are Swallow-Tails.

Nice reflection Alison
My kinda shot.
I wonder if you took the tree and the reflection in two separate shots and them put them together in one long vertical. hmmmmm.

Spiders creep me out, but I find them so interesting.
Extraordinary colour.
Glad they don't get this big in my neighbourhood.
