What an interesting place. So many different kinds of flora. I hope you took a lot of shots. Good composition on this photo.

Oh yes you can go wrong - think about it - unbalanced shot, blurred, focus on the wrong things. It takes a good eye to frame what you are trying to capture - and taking enough of the subject so you will have some room for cropping if necessary. Someone told me (think it was Peter Daniels) that you can crop out, but can't put in what wasn't there. I will admit that nature was smiling upon you on this particular day. I have learned that PS allows you the freedom to take a "not so good" shot and sometimes turn it into a work of art. Will you be uploading any more like this shot taken during your holiday? I really do like landscapes and seascapes. Jan

Thanks for the comments, you really can't go wrong with a shot like this when nature does the work for you!!

Wonderful capture. So peaceful, and the colors and details are great. The balance in the shot is just right, and the flowers you can glimpse in the left front of the shot start your imagination working to think about what else there is that you did not capture. The clouds appear to frame the trees with their starburst effect. Really like this one. Thanks for sharing some of your holiday. Jan

Some choose to adhere to the rules of visualization religiously, their choice, but rules can be broken and in this case another third of pure black would do absolutely nothing for the image, but thanks for the comment anyway
