hey prashant. Nice capture and crop.

From the placement of the necklace, I am assuming that this is a product shot. I agree with the Roland over the placement, but that is upto the client in the end.

Couple of points which I think will improve this shot are:
1. the background. Since you have used only one light to light the background, it goes from white on the right to grey at the left. A uniform background would serve the product better. place a light on the either side behind the subject pointed to the background to provide the uniformity and get the background whity white. study richard avadon's portait lighting style.

Another small thing is the visibility of wayward strands of hair. Her hair was not neatly put together. Time to have a small chat with your hair stylist.

hope it helps. by the way... pretty model.

Nice shot, sharp through out and well captured. I like the composition of the poolside, but unfortunatly the grey building in the background is quite distracting and quite a contrast.

good observation...really like the golden carpet which is at stark contrast to the a very bland sky...both together give life to your subjects...nice picture.

very nice composition, pankaj...for me what really makes the picture is the background which forms nice bluish vertical bands to complement the iron rod/window pane. nice work.

though the composition is nice, but imo the yellow/black boat in the background is distracting, takes attention away from our lonely boat. very nice colour contrast and saturations.

as usual.. excellent composition makes one follow the footsteps into the frame and then walking out of it with the guy, very effective as a panaromic.

excellent grain. its the grain which brings this photo to life, an extreme fine grain would have made it look like a plain shot. Ken is right, picture deserves recognition.
nice shot pankaj, did you develop it yourself?
your b/w work is really nice.

hi kaeli, very nice composition, really like the range of tones captured.overall a classic shot, very well excecuted.
just one question, can you pls explain the lighting set up and the source. cannot help but be curious abt 5 min exposure and the technique used.

hey prashant, here is the ps'd version. all i did was use the simple burn feature. Well i am not that well versed to photoshop, but i am sure many others could do a million times better job then this.
But overall i just wanted to reduce the amount of cathlight in her eyes. i hope this helps.

nice portrait, i like the way it is composed, maybe IMO a little more frame was needed on the right hand side of the frame or if that wasnt possible, i would prefer eye contact.

exposure is spot on. nice work ben, your portfolio is excellent. my compliments.
