What I like about your work generally is that you have a definite direction with super creativity and enthusiasm that really shows in your portfolio. We are all growing with mutual support here on Usefilm, something that i really enjoy about meeting this way. I am looking forward to more of your images.

Hi Shirley,
I have to be candid about this image it has some good qualities. The light and refracted crystals make for interesting fodder. But for me, and this is just personal taste, it is too busy and the symmetrical aspect of the composition does not enhance the overall impact for me. I hope you don't mind my saying how I feel about this particular image.

Hi my friend, I hope you are doing ok and this break in posting isn't due to something more dire....All the best.
I take a break when I feel it is hard to be sincere in my responses sometimes.

I think they are so different in concept that one is not better then the other really. This one plays with the eyes going from flat to 3D depending on where you are looking. More contemporary.

Hi Mike,
Yes and I find Skagway not as beautiful....Yes I have spent a lot of time in Atlin and have a few friends that live there. Great place to have a 4 x 4 to head up into the mountains and check out the old mines.

Hi Harry,
I have sent my cameras to Nikon several time and even delivered them by hand for repairs once...the worst experience with service I have ever had. It takes so long that you might as well just get a new one (which I am Sure they are hoping for) Orrrr they say it will cost more then a new one to repair and then offer to sell you one for more then I can get in a store. If in fact they do embark on repair and it takes a huge amount of time, there is no way to talk to a person...you can email till you are blue in the face and NEVER get a answer or phone, but you will NEVER get a human and let with a option to leave a message and NEVER get a answer! There warranty is bogus for all those reasons. I imagine this is a common experience with so many for these large companys. They are totally uninterested in maintaining any kind of real service experience hoping you will just get a new one and leave them alone. One way around it sometimes used to be to order your own parts which I had done in the past but now they don't allow it....to bad. I have fixed cameras that they said were throw aways for sometimes less then $15. It is the way of the world these days. I am either getting old and cynical or this is a common experience.

with such a busy background it would be tough to make this shot work as well as you have. The key element of the bicycle ties the whole composition together fabulously.
