I love the way their colors camoflage them on the plant they chose for this.

But it made for one beauty of a photo!!
It was a photoshop accident...was supposed to be white with black letters. I noticed after I uploaded and by the time I went to delete it 4 people had already looked at it much faster than usual so...I left it  /

I didn't get any strawberries out of my patch this year...I saw probably about a thousand...but the squirrells got them all. They at least left me 3 last year...

A beautiful image!
And not that someone from the UK would quite get this (although it is a football reference ;o)
The title is an unfair tease to a Penn State fan on a fall football Saturday! )
The area where the school is, is known as Happy Valley...kinda looks like that too!

I don't get it...everything else grows like crazy but clematis I just kill one after the other.

Have you ever seen Joan Miros paintings where over the course of a few years he went from painting realistic trees like this to abstracting them down to just a few simple lines?
Amazing stuff!
Thanks for the comments on the Iris...Yes...the catterpillar part of the flower just amazed me too!

Sad when we realize that things like eras come and go in our lifetime...
It all seemed so much different back when people were protesting letting this thing land in New York.
I would like to see the picture it's self a little brighter I think...Perhaps more contrast. A brighter plane might change the somber mood though...

At first I thought this was a really cool shot and I wondered how you did it.
As I started to read the description of the process I was a little bummed you were telling me?taking the mystery out of it.
By the time I had finished reading I had goosebumps on my neck.

To me a wonderful photograph on many levels.
As a potter it has an extra appeal to me. It has helped me. As I stared at it. A fire began to burn. I am about to go throw pots for the first time in many years.
