I basicly like the shot. Nice model and pose, but the angle of the lighting I'm not sure I like. I personally try to never out the eyes into shadows like you've done, although they're not too dark, so you can still see her eyes. Maybe try putting the light at or just above models eye level, and 45 to 60 degrees to camera left.

Pim, great shot. No improvements needed.Beautiful tones and textures. I didn't think a Sigma lens could do this well. Again, great work.

Thanks for your comments Mia. This is my favorite type of photography. Waiting for people to get engroosed in convesation, or what ever, and catch them as they are. Unposed, and natural.

Thanks much. I wish I had seen the shirt sleeve caught in the watch band, but that's one of the drawbacks of shooting 35mm. it's easy to miss little derails like that. Besides that, it's one of my favorite portraits. the model's a close friend, she's a natural.
