Thank you Paolo and Kimmy for your comments! I forgot to put a frame on the picture (since the background is white). Inge

Truly an excellent shot! I agree, a butiful expression by a even more beautiful girl.

hi mark!

Long time since I looked at your pictures. Still going strong :-) Nice work! I would have faded away the door in the downleft corner though.

A new version with a little less forehead, more space behind the girl and more detailed boy's clothing.

I love it! The color to black&white, out of focus, cropping - great!

thank you all for your comments! Kevin: Her skin is not that smooth, it is the work of www.neatimage.com This is a really great program to make remove noise in a picture or smoothen skin.

This is a beautiful picture! Is it a bridge ? The colors and lines works well in this picture.

no, this is not a self portrait. It is a picture of a friend of mine. Inge is a boy's name in Norway :-)

I really love the darkness in the picture- it is hard to make it work, but this picture do just that! It feels like the girl is finding her way out of the darkness. Great picture!

Thank you Tomamaso, I think I agree.... The bluish comes from an intentional gaussian blur of the blue color. I have posted one without blue eyes as well...

Thank you all for your comments :-) And E.J. Billy Kim, cross processing is done in Adobe by pushing the colors to both ends of the histogram (levels). I have made an action which helps me through the process. In the end, I use www.neatimage.com to soften the image (default setting are good). My email adress is: inge.helland@c2i.net - send me yours and I will email you the action if you want to try it out!

This is a beutiful picture, but it has one flaw. The black between her upper and lower lip, shadow. Could you pose the original color picture as well. And are you happy with the 85mm (f 1.8?). I have the same camera, thinking of buying the 85mm lens as well.

Thank you for your comments on my pictures! You were already on my friends list, your pictures are great. Especially this one, "innocence". The soft toning, contrast and depth is perfect!

I like this picture :-) The B&W contrast, lightning and motive. Next time, I suggest you use a reflector or flash to put some light on her face to avoid harsh shadows.

Sincerely, Inge

Thank you all for the nice comments! Raffaele: This picture was taken with a 300mm lens for a large distance, when an approach to the subjects would have ruined the picture by attracting attention. It's hard to get it perfect technically when you have only a few seconds to capture the moment :-) Sincerely, Inge
