With digital camera, you can first use aperture priority or shutter speed priority mode to check the settings and change your mode to manual and test it out.

Wow..this wide angle of the landscape is beautiful. Blue sky, the greens, and shadows.. we don't get to see this in Singapore..

Thank you for the comment. I was using Canon G6 for this shot. Field of view is rather narrow. I think its 35mm widest. And that's as far back i can go because further back i will be blocked by trees.

Thank you for your encouraging words and comment on this photo.

This pic actually was sort of "accidental". At that time, while i tried to take photos of this event, there were 2 tall photographers in front of me. I had no choice but to tilt my camera so that i won't be blocked. The hand movement was really fast so it was blurred and i blurred the top right hand corner as well using picasa.
