nice to see you too sandy.
Yeah, this was about a 15 sec exposure with 3 flashes for the first Tim, two for the second and one for the third. By the way, you have some...many fantastic shots in your range. Congrats

great composition, well done. i also like the lighter "grassy" stuf just behind his shoulder. I don't know how but it seem to soften his hard expression a bit, great contrast of emotion. fanatastic shot. a true straight 7s.

Thanks for the comment on my soccer shot Dan. I wasn't sure about the ball either. It was sharp but i softened it a bit, might try to keep it sharp and soften the rest. By the way nice work with this shot. Can tell lots of delicate work in PS went into this one. Maybe messing with the contrast could make the background a bit less drawing to the eye. Great work, and thanks, Tim.

are you using photoshop, seems like a lot of your images are over sharpened and very contrasty. also the reflection of the flash really draws your eye i this shot. the shot also seems very busy, like you hadn't quite decided what you were trying to capture. the facial expressioins look interesting, but the shot seems too busy.

very nice composition. have you tried it as a panoramic, might lack though i guess as the clouds a cool in shot. still could be worth a play. Also maybe you could have changed you angle, gotten low to the ground or high up. looks like it was taken at normal eye height, though i'm probably wrong. very nice shot.

very good candid capture. pity about the brach thing at the side of the head. also could be nice in B&W, or toning down the colours(something i just discovered)
Nice one.

ery nice shot. love the directional lines in this pic of the tile thhings in the foreground. maybe it could have been nice if you could have used a wide angle closer to the tile things to give them more detail and punch to the shot. but not everyone has a wide angle. nice work.
