Excellent perspective and great focus on this beautiful Strat. Is it yours?
One of my guitars is a Tele, not as beautiful as this one here but it has a great sound.
Anyway.....Fantastic work here and.... I like the title too!

OK Spencer... Here is what I think....
First, go to Levels (not curves) Grab your midtones slider (the gray one) and move it to the left until the picture is washed out. Then grab your shadows slider (black) and move it to the right. The gray one will move to the right to so you might have to adjust it a little more. THen grab your highlights slider (white) and move it to the left a little bit. That should give u pretty much a whiter image all around. Apply. Then pick a white brush at 20% or so and start painting off the remaining shadows and "dirty" areas on the skin. Grab your burn tool and trace the edges of the eyes and areas that need it....
Look at Roger's picture. It is still gray and it actually got dirtier, not white. This is the easy, 1-minute way to do this.

After seeing the thumbnail odf this image, I must say I am very surprised. This is a very beautiful piece of architecture with excellent details. You captured it in a superb way, Spencer,
I like the composition a lot cause it looks like you took this shot hiding behind the three on the foreground. I also like the structure of the building
Wonderful work!
BTW, I prefer B&W to sepia, but that's personal.

Very nice crop and..... I agree with John about the secondary focus on the woman's face.
It's an unusual composition but a good idea. I like the toning too

Good secontary focus at the face of the woman. The cropping here gives something artistic to the portrait. Good lighting and surely different composition (because of the close up at the cat). Always a new idea is a good idea. My best regards and thanks a lot for your comment at my last. Bye!

Spencer, I like Leslie's suggestion and your response. It saves this from being such a stark newspaper image and creates a melancholy feel. An excellent shot with excellent comp. Love the dark bulk of the tree/trees on the right.

There is a strange, but beautiful atmosphere in this photo, not dramatic, but a little disquieting, I do not know why but for me the houses with closed windows have always a mysterious aspect, very good gray scale, I like it. Bye Max
