I am agree withKim::
If your focus is on the heron, then I think that perhaps you should crop out the waterfall. It's a stunning location, but the first thing my eye goes to is the waterfall because it's so much larger and so much brighter. OR maybe just crop this into a square to keep a bit of the top of the waterfall to leave some sense of the location.
The heron's head has slightly disappear in the background, as the trees seem to get darker there but I'm sure there wasn't much you could do. I know how finicky birds can be and if you try to move they could fly off
