Sian, thanks for your comment on my photo, it's one of my favorites of her.

This photo is adorable! Kids really show their personalities when they get a chance to dress themselves. Too cute! :-)

It looks cozy and inviting!

I should get more b&w film...

Thanks for the link to this photo Mark. I like the way this came out, it's definately creative & unique. Maybe I'll give it a try too! :-)

I've never looked into the electricity consumption of these monitors. I know Kortnie's shuts itself off if it detects that the computer is off, or not hooked up. And I'm clueless about the radiation factor.

The ones I have here are flat screens, and I got them for around $112 each about a year and a half ago at Best Buy. They're not flat panels, which run quite a bit more and I haven't looked into pricing those. But I'll definately pick up another flat screen. I might as well get the same kind as I got Kortnie, the 17" KDS.

My colors all look fine, just the white is a little dimmer than it used to be. Maybe it's just dirty ;-)

I'll probably pick up another monitor like the one I got Kortnie. I got this one the same time I got hers, but this was a floor model so who knows how much use it got.

Dave, I actually shoot quite a bit, I just don't post here that often anymore.

I noticed the blur, I like it.

I'd be curious to know what colors others are seeing. I think my monitor is going bad. The center of the screen is fuzzy, and there's a slight moire that won't go away on certain colors/contrasts, and my white isn't as bright as it used to be.

Mark, I like the sepia & square crop.

Yes, this was a larger image, but it wasn't cropped, just sized down. I was maybe a foot away from her, using super-macro mode.

Does it look blue to you? It doesn't have any color at all on my monitor.

Great colors! I like the angle you chose and I love the vine. I have it growing all over my yard & part of my house, but it isn't nearly as wild as this.

Nice and moody, kind of eerie too. It's just like the weather we had here recently.

Very nice Betty. Are you getting the hang of the camera or PSP? The quality here has really improved over some of the earlier photos.

Betty, is this the NeatImage version? It looks pretty smooth, or could it just be that it's larger than on the other site? I'm going to show you how to edit your images so they're not so small pixelwise, yet large in file size. Get a hold of me this weekend sometime, and I'll walk you through a few things in Photoshop. If you want to, that is! :-)

Duh... I just realized who Dorothea Lange was! *forehead slap*

She did the 'Migrant Mother' photo about the peapickers plight. I just read about her in a book last week and didn't put 2+2 together until re-reading this just now.

Thanks, now I realize that was a compliment for sure ;-)

I see now, makes sense! I haven't magnified anything yet! If I can find something to black out my window with today, I might give it a go this weekend after I read up on printing a little more.

Mag it? What does that mean? I developed this in D-76. It's still that first batch I mixed up a few months ago. Thought I'd see what happens when you mix old developer & expired film!
