This is very nice Jennifer. Kids are an inspiration. They are also cheap models... they work for room and board! We have 5 so I don't overwork any one at a time.

Thank you Jennifer. Yes a flash was used and on my monitor it looks just right. That is a problem that I have been having lately. My monitor is not "TRUE" to what is on other monitor...frustrating.

I liked the contrast in the colors. (concerning the stickers)I had not noticed the distraction. Thank you for the critique.

Simply beautiful. Her smile makes me visualize her as a little girl. I love portraits of this type.

I like the IR shots Chuck. Tell me how you do yours? Just a visible light blocker and an ND Filter like I do with the Sony? The color in yours is a welcome element that mine lacks.

Very nice photo. I like the range of tones throughout. And I am left wondering why there is a rock sitting atop the closest headstone..
Thanks

Can you hear the mosquito's screams? Very nice photo. Macros are reminders that the world is definately not a kind and gentle place.

To me, film black and white has a texture that appeals to my tactile senses. Nicely done. Next time try a biscuit to get the dog to smile as well..

It has a very "water color like" look to it. Smooth and soothing. Very nice

Thank you Philip for your kind words. Unfortunately there are many opportunities to capture this type of subject.

Raymond, I have photos such as this with my grandfather as the subject. They speak volumes, and are hard to look at truthfully. I can speak from experience that I am happy to have them now after he is gone.

You have certainly captured his happiness. I would like to have seen this from a lower level just to take in more of his smile. Good work.

Yes Ciana I have a few more. You are the second person to comment on the boat. I learned after the fact how easy it would have been to remove it in PS. I plan to post more from this "series". I plan to become a donor so that I may post multiple images.

Vincent, I contemplated removing the boat but to be honest my PS skills are dismal so I had to live with it. Your website is very beautiful and intuitively laid out. Thanks for your comment

Yes Jeff, the filter is the cause. I assembled it myself from parts I had around the house and it is always visible when I use the widest angle. Thank you for your comment.
