Great work, Teunis.
I am slightly less fond of this one than of much of your other work - the yellow pestle of the flower is swallowed by the yellow petals - making it less attractive.
Of course, it is the flower's fault...
As usual, your DOF is bloody amazing!

I did not want to process the shot (other than cropping it) - this is what my lens could do ;-)... But saturation is a good idea. I will underexpose by half a stop on the next one...

Your ability to bring out both colours and detail never cease to amaze me.
Composition is wonderous.
Ah, such flowers.
Now, one problem with the photograph - what about the scent? You forgot the scent ;-).

Thanks for the comment, Tony.
Actually, I was looking for the multiple reflection to converge with the smoke from the smokestack - that is why I was shooting through a closed window.
As for more of the foreground, yes, I have quite a bit of THAT, cropped off in this version of the photo.
I will try posting another version with more foreground...

What is it? It looks like a shrimp-coloured mushroom raised in a cooking utensil - beautiful colours in an industrial format.
Quite a weird photo - I am not sure if it attracts or repulses... Weird...

A very atractive illustration/photograph.
it reqminds me of pictures by Beardley - those of the arthurian romances. Percival? One of the effeminate knights? Very intense effect.
