Great lighting, and I like the way the boats are lined up

I like the colors and the diagonal line of the boxes. However, I think cropping out the pole and wire would help the picture a lot.

Great capture. Good use of DOF to keep the background out of focus. It would be nice if the ball were in the picture, but I think the photo still works.

Great caputre. Good detail and good use of filling up the frame with the subject. Excellent job.

Great use of black and white...I'm sure it wouldn't be as dramatic in color. Good tonal range

I like the portrait, but their faces are partly covered in shadow. Perhaps using a fill flash would help.

Nice restful scene. I like the contrast between the reds, blues and greens. I only wish the branch wasn't obscuring the boat so much.

I like the composition and use of slow shutter speed. It looks like you might have sharpened it a little too much in PS.

I like the idea of the picture, but I think it neeeds a lot of cropping at the bottom. I don't know if you could have zoomed in any closer, but I think that would have helped. Also, the number of people in the background are distracting.

Wonderful patterns, great color. I like the way the staircase leads your eye through the picture.

Great colors, wonderful lighting and simple composition really make this picture work.

Excellent and striking portrait. The harsh directional light really brings out the lines in his face. On the other side of the coin, the top of his head and his head dress are very dark.

Excellent use of black and white. The tones are wonderful and I suspect it looks better in B/W than in color.

Beautiful colors, nice use of the telephoto. I might crop a little off the top.

5/9/2003 8:33:59 AM

Beautiful lighting and the contrast between the big and small ships really make this picture work. I might crop a bit off the top to get rid of the seagull and to get rid of some of the bland sky

I like the expressions on their faces. However, I think the crowd in back of them is too distracting. I would crop this picture almost in half to eliminate them and the window near the top. Also the picture seems soft.

The joy in is face is evident, even without all his teeth in place. A good capture, with the hat making an effective background for his face. I wish it were a little sharper, but I think that's a scanner problem .
