Hi JL,

that's what I call an eye catcher ... great! Very dramatic.

Hi Maurilio,

great architecture shot, but the scene is a bit empty ... I could imagine someone standing in this scene looking up, maybe.
Too bad, that you didn't give any information about this place.

Hi Kristina,

to be fair, I must say, that I'm a bit tired of watching flowers ... this one catched my eye though. The lighting combined with the background is simply great.

Hi Tarjei,

I remember that dilemma feeling, when I first stood up there many years ago :-)
Great shot and title, but it's a bit right tilted.

Hi Olaf,

as nice as the first one, but with better detail and sharpness, I tink. Is it a bit right tilted or is it just the telegraph pole?

Hi Marcio,

very nice landscape due to the perspective and the colorful sky.
Too bad, that the sky is that noisy ... could be corrected with www.neatimage.com

Hi Rachel,

with the soft color tones this is an interesting alternative to IR in B&W. The children are the dot on the "i", as we say in Germany :-)

great ... at first sight, she looks like made of stone ... until second sight, when one sees the hand written letter.

Hi Brandan,

very interesting ... usually I'm not a fan of high-key, but here it's great. Too bad, that it's left tilted ... Photoshop is your friend ;-)
I also would have cropped it on the left to create a symmetric tunnel perspective to the door.
BTW ... as an alternative to this high-key version, you could have shot it twice, this one and the other version with the underexposed door. Then you would have been able to combine both shots in Photoshop to get an overall normal exposure.

Hi Rafael,

you're looking for criticism regarding IR ... mmh ... that's not an easy task, because you did a nice job.
I'm missing a little bit more sharpness maybe.

BTW ... do you use custom white balance for IR? That gives a good exposure spreading on all three color channels and you can use Photoshops Channel Mixer for the B&W conversion. Just for the case, you didn't know that.

Hi Rafael,

IR at it's best ... a bit less sky and the complete reflection instead and it would be perfect. I like the different tree contrasts between the left and the right.
The D100 does a nice job in IR!

Hi Mark,

very nice macro. The lighting problem (weak contrasts) could be easily fixed in Photoshop ... just make a little levels adjustment.
