sweet. so the vignetting is natural? i have come across a polaroid 800 Land Camera and i'm excited to try it out. do you know the best place to get "film" for it? nice work, Stephen.

freaky! i like it! the foliage in the second image does look better, but the first does add more of a mood. did she stand in place for a second? how did she show up in one spot if she was running?

great location for this shot! all the arrows really give to the sense of movement. i might suggest next time cropping out more of the sky. brighter areas draw the eye. good light blur. also, great choice of time to shoot.
thank you for all your comments on my images. (c:,'

nice mood, but not interesting enough arrangement. power lines detract. maybe if you found a better angle, preferably closer to the truck and house, it would much improve. hard to tell if you wanted to lines and are conditioners in the shot or not.

hmm, i saw Ryan's comment and it got me to thinking. perhaps it would help if you used a polarizer to cut the glare. that might simplify it and perhaps make it look more like a canyon! (c:,'

nice. very cute. i might suggest cropping off most of the left side, so he/she isn't looking out of the pic so much. (c:,'

oh how we love the moon! and oh how hard it is to capture it. one thing you might try if you want to get up close: if you have a telescope and plenty of patience, align your camera lens with the eyepiece of the telescope that's aimed at the moon, and snap! i've gotten a couple good shots that way. have fun! a nice idea. However, i feel you should lighten up the image and move the selective focus towards the foreground. and perhaps move the qoute up just a tad. great quote, by the way! (c:,'

the frost holds secrets
that even the trees cannot hear
only the orb knows how
to pierce the crystals
light begets water
water begets life
and it goes on
in time...in time...

nice image! great colors and wide angle. i might suggest croppig out the objects at the top as they distract from the rest of the image, i feel. thanks for your comment on one of my images, Thom! (c:,'

Sexy?! what are you talking about?! does just showing a lot of leg make it sexy? i don't see it. this is just too wierd. what is she doing to that pole? if you're exploring the implications of human sexuality, it might make more sense. otherwise, the image is just too nebulous and out there.

a time of dreary days
when i make my own bright promise
but it flys
it all flys and becomes as blurry
as indecipherable as a delusion
i must return to get it back

The lighting is great, but i would say the shot is not really working as a whole. if the wine bottle is the subject, it is too small and off-center to be affective. my eye can't quite determine if this is a scenic shot or an advertisement. in this kind of photo, simplicity is key. keep on working on it. 'tis a nice view but i believe waiting for better lighting would have dramatically improved the image. however, i know this is not always an option. another suggestion: the light appears to be coming in from stage-left. using a polarizer and/or shooting at right angles to the sun would deepen the color of the sky and improve contrast (polarizer). Keep on posting, Brian! (c:,'

very good, but i would like to see some more DOF. my eye initially goes to the whole mask because of what appears to be a strong expression, but ends up on the tip of the nose. the entire mask doesn't have to be in focus but some more DOF would improve, i think, the overall feeling. (c:,'
