Very well taken, love the way you made her stand out from the background (shame you have the dark/light change over in the background right behind her head. Half a step left or right might have made the difference.

Excellent composition. The colour of the bracelets and the fruit works well. One thing to watch is the background, you have a light patch to the left. Try to check all round the subject before you press the shutter.

You are right about the distortion effect, they really do show up in this flat represntation.
BTW - I have been playing with the Widelux over the summer, I find the biggest drawback the lack of a ND graduated filter to offset the bright skies.
Still I'm enjoying myself.

some of your work is being used on this site (http://www.flashvista.com/flash_templates_photography/) goto the third page of templates, 4th row, centre template. Then choose 'places'. Hope the guy paid you for the use of the images.
I knew the style as soon as I saw them.

Hi Chealsea,
thanks for the comment on my 4 Spot Chaser. These dragonflies are just coming into season, emerging most mornings now. Its a great subject.
This is a fine example of a chaser style dragonfly. Forgive me I don't know the Canadian species.
Its a great image too, nice and sharp. I too use a gold reflector and sometimes a bounced flash to put a little extra warmth into the images.

Ah yes - the widelux, I do wish I could find a reasonably priced one of these, they look like great fun. I think on this shot it might have been nice to see just a little more of the left hand path and a tad less of the right hand hedge, but I love the pinks.

This is clever, just feel it needs a little more space at the left hand edge, the frame is just a tad too close to be comfortable.

Hi Roger,
thanks for the comments yesterday, much appreciated. I get the feeling that extracting comments from Usefilm viewers these days is not so easy.
This is classic Williams though, street life through the eyes of a local. I do wish I could see the faces of the hiker and shopkeeper a little better though. That would bring me into the scene a little more.

I love this one Roger, as you say the colours are wonderful. The fisheye is a great little lens, I just wish my 10D didn't have the anti-wide angle crop factor ;-)
