reminiscent of Annie Liebowitz with the antics she was able to get celebrities to do for her portrait work. excellent...this man will have his 15 secs (maybe) of celebrity status here on UF. Great background, Mario. Camera Veritas!

Nice composition Milana. Your subject has bit of red eye though from your flash. Have to find a way to remove it from the camera or use the red eye reduction feature.

Read your comment in the donor forum. i don't speak for all, but i think there is a consensus that nearly all of us have the potential within because we have the desire to see differently than some others. this flower image is different from what i might do, but it is awesome in color detail and saturation; composition and DOF. Welcome to a great photographic community. Keep shooting, keep looking at the works that you like and find words to describe what is pleasing and what isn't to you. Luke

Nice image. Think it would be better if she were not so close to the wall. Excellent graphic imagery though with the billowing skirt of her dress and the skin tone in contrast to the wall and the garment.

Mimicry...the way all children learn by our examples and they have this incredible knack to get stodgy adults to do the most inane things. Great composition with excellent balance between the right and left half of frame.

Nice kid portrait, Jeno. This might be better with a bit more light so his face can be seen better, but then you know what your intention was when loaded to UF. Excellent composition here with the main subject sharp in focus and the foreground and background blurred. Luke

all the special details...that make a simple photograph wonderful. the repeating pattern of blocks in the sidewalk, the droll background punctuated by the red garment of a child who happens to carrying a pink umbrella.

i see these reflections in buildings all over town, but i am usually in my car at the wrong time. the lighting is what makes it wonderful. the reflections are also spectacular as they create an amazing abstract image of a very concrete subject. nicely done.
