Hi Tamara The eyes, the expression....wonderful....is the dark area over the mouth...signifies muted speech, a silenced voice? I suppose that is for the viewer to interpret so perhaps you should rightly remain ambiguous on that From a purely aesthetic view it's beautiful.....

This is interesting, the blur removes detail that would otherwise simply distract...leaving more form...I think it's a good idea...

What I love about this series that it is so sweet and child-like...and your dedications are lovely....in this series you have an eye for the simple and beautiful, the way a child might be...adults may find it hard to strip away all their prejudices and just enjoy this sweet series, it's hard to do because we're looking for labels to apply. That's the adult way But what you do here is purposeful and I think it was a great idea. Let the academics battle out some irrelevant artistic points. I like this series because it makes me feel good. d

Generally speaking, a manicured walking trail might be about as natural as a weedless lawn 
That said...if it gives people a better appreciation of nature, and a better understanding that we need to coexist with nature, not attempt to dominate it...maybe it's not such a bad thing? Good luck on the planning...and really a wonderful image by the way...I love the composition, and with that colour I'm an easy catch d

Wonderful image....I love the mood, the toning...and I so know what you mean...here I lamented as developers dug up a park to build a condominium...and then lamented further when they promptly went out of business, leaving a huge gaping hole in the earth. When some of us see trees, we see trees...others see a shopping mall and pavement. So strange to me. Rant over This is a great image! d
