Lovely image, the lines and the exposure are perfect. I do agree about the frame, though, I would go with plain black to 'lock in' the blown out whites at the top left corner.

After seeing your image "Through the catacombs", it is difficult for me to see a still capture like this! I find the two lights slightly distracting, but I do like the red/blue in the image.

Stunning image, the first thing that comes to mind is the smoothness of the blur, you must have been holding that camera steady. What was your shutter speed, if you don't mind me asking? 1/2 second?
As far as the composition goes, I love the way my eye is immediately drawn to follow the rails towards the top left of the image, yet along the way the lights of the station provide a tempting diversion for the mind.
This is a very smooth image, very well done.

Thank you Ali, the composition was my gamble, that there may be too much white in the image.

Oh my god! Wonderful shot, so serene, yet in a way restless. I don't know if this is a calm and quiet scene, or if a herd of giant monsters has just swept across the plains. Wonderful shot, I could look at it for hours. Well done.

This shot has potential, but I think the shoe kinda throws a wrench in it. Otherwise, there are some really interesting shapes here, and good composition, minus the shoe. Or maybe it's just the red lace?

Dave, great moment captured here, but the image bothers me. I hope you don't mind me asking, but did you use a lot of sharpening here? I can't find a focus point, and as a result my eye cannot follow the image, if you know what I mean, unless there was a quality loss in the compression, that could also be it.
Just my two-cents worth.

Very nice and calming image, I love the tones, the slight green hue of the water and the bluish hue of the sky and boat, especially when contrasted with the rough water, make this image a beauty. Congrats!

I actually like the composition, I think the palm tree lends to a sense of busyness behind the cub, which acts as a contrast to the relative compositional calm in front of the cub. The sharpness is the only point that is bothersome.

Absolutly Spectacular. The lighting is breathtaking, and the firm presence of the mountains as a backdrop to the fluidity of the water makes for an amazing image. This one is one of my favorites.
On a side note: Man, I miss the F5, that is a great camera. Glad to see someone still using it.

I love the lighting and exposure of the shot, but the composition leaves me wanting more. Maybe the angles? I find the two foreground lights a little disorienting, the way one is much more prominant, while the other one is almost leaving the frame.
A gorgeous scene otherwise.

Great shot, well exposed. I don't know if it is just an visual illusion, but the horizon almost seems tilted. However, when I look at the edges of the frame, it looks okay.

I think your aperture setting was perfect, I like the depth of field in this one. The only only thing that would have made this image better, in my humble opinion, is the removal of the white stuff in the top right of the frame. It is not only distracting, it does not lend an opinion to its nature, or what it does for the image.
The depth of field is perfect because, while the eye seems to think the focus is on the far side/top of the image, the lower leaves are sharp as well, which comes as a pleasant surprise.
This is the kind of image where the eye could roam around for quite a while.

Interesting shot. I like the complexity of the image, and the pleasing colours. However, if I may, I find the image a little disturbing to the eye, as I search for a subject to focus on. Maybe a little more DOF would have been better?
Of course, I was not there, so I am only speculating.

Fantastic capture, well exposed and sharp. The border was a very good choice.
The only thing, and this may just be me, but it bothers me for some reason, the way the eye is drawn to the lower left of the image. Don't know why.
Still an excellent shot.

I like it, you can almost ignore the soft moon for the composition of the rest of the frame, and excellent exposure. Extremely lucky shot on the way the stars line up with the streaks.
Well done.
