The clouds here dont seem dark enough to have that dreary sense of oncoming rain for me. It seems more peaceful as I listed for the wind in the grass.

I just spent a few weeks out in the praries of Canada and the flat land, allthough not as dominant as most think, does really get into your soul. The play of the light in the clouds is magic on the mind. I do find the muted grass and blue sky to be a conflict of sorts and my mind is trying to work through that idea. Great sense of the openness I felt when out that way though, thanks for a trip back.

What I like about this is that we dont have to know what it is. Good lines, simple tones and an obvious attention to a neat scene, well composed placing it together to make it effective. Leg work, a good eye and a 50mm, the tool of a good efficient mind at work. Nicely done!

I get a funky 3-D effect from this one. Simple yet quite effective. Good eye for the gentle lighting.

Excellent lighting and DOF here. Too bad about the hand of man element bring it back to reality. The lighting and control of the scene are bang on, impressive work.

I live in the area and have yet to visit this place. laval is so close and yet I have yet to feel this magesty. After seeing this I am going tomorrow to have a wonderous look I am sure. Thanks for the pic that got my wheels in motion and on the way to a place of incredible magic in the hands of the right person with a camera anyway. Thanks!!!!!

Nice tight and full of details. Too bad for that round hubcap top right, my eyes want to find the finer details in the image and keep going back up to that hubcap top right.

This is neat and I am enjoying the idea. I do think a slight crop off of the top to get rid of that line top left might help to free it up a bit. My eyes keep going to that level line top left and seem to get stuck there.

Good clean lines and a powerful yet flightly sky that hold the attention while not forcing itself upon the mind. Enjoyable work, easy to look at and brings forth a smile. Nice shooting.

Is the window a table in a horizontal format I am guessing from the size of that drop way they seem to be sitting without a pull of gravity being shown. I love this and the play of the lights in the drops. Nice angle as well.

You must be using a infrared remote control to get images like this. how do you get in place, wow. My only nit is the cropped foot with all that space at the top. Fpr me a slight bit more at the bottom of less so the foot is not cut would help finish it better, than again what do I know, lol. Thanks for some inspiration.

Your eyes are great, you have them perfect. I respect that so much knowing you had to run there to get in place. Did you use a 20 foot shutter release in your hidden hand maybe.... that might help in a relaxed pose which you have done very well. Impressive image!

I like the feel of this. The light is gentle and the way it leaps from the background really come to my eyes works for me. I do find it a bit centered but I guess thats what usually works for images like this. The stem off center is a nice twist. Good thinking, nice work!

I like the original, the line coming from the corner provides a way out of the image for me, making it to easy for the viewer to leave, not the point of our taking an image, I dont think so anyway.

I dont have a problem with the extra space. I feel images (sometimes) need space to let an emotion run free and not get constricted into boundries, thus I am with your original version. I feel that there is a freedom of where to go, a movement waiting to happen with the loss of weight (aka the water gone). Like humanity we so often get stuck in our little spaces, a need for control, and for me the compoaition provided all that room for us to go where we want to, where the bug wants to, to be free to do what ever where ever it wants. Great eye, great image. Impressive eye!

An immediate smile came forth as this came into view. I like the slight tilt to the sidewalk that you have brought forth through your composition of the scene. the cracks work well working from OOF to sneak up on the cover. Interesting piece to say the least, enjoyable as well. Thank you!

In the images passive softness it still leaps screaming from the composition to be wondered into. I feel a 3D effect and yet find such low key gentle beauty about. Impressive vision, and excellent work to capture such a classic gem. Impressive and extremely enjoyable!

I love the freedom of this composition. The young lady running with feeling soaring about like the relfection of the sun off the water. Her hair wisping in the wind, on its own according to no other. The sun a kind of directive of the rest, there and definately felt, yet her still on her own doing her own this by her own will, a great example, thank you. I love it, excellent work!
