As a life long Canadian prairie dweller I have seen few pictures that are able to capture the expanse of the sky - your image is able to convey the largeness of the sky and the flatness of the land - a tricky balance to acheive, your composition seems to do the trick, at least to these eyes.

I just spent a few weeks out in the praries of Canada and the flat land, allthough not as dominant as most think, does really get into your soul. The play of the light in the clouds is magic on the mind. I do find the muted grass and blue sky to be a conflict of sorts and my mind is trying to work through that idea. Great sense of the openness I felt when out that way though, thanks for a trip back.

Hi Jeff.......Wow...this is fantastic...love the expanse of clouds, the only thing better, would be if I was under them, lol. I also like the position of the horizon...nicely done. I have used the program...and I find it much easier then photoshop...I like the resizing capabilites..and the image is larger...so much easier to see what I need to crop.....thank you again for your comments and help.......Gloria

Beautiful. I do find it odd that the sky is so saturated but the grass is not. It works as the saturation really pulls my eye into the sky while the grass is but a foundation to the image. Nicely done.
