Photographer: Arthur Yeo  (Karma=890)

About: Although my primary focus is landscape/nature photography, some times I dabble with street-photography, photojournalism and may be abstract depending on the day. Ansel Adams, David Muench, Galen Rowell, John Shaw, Henri Cartier-Bresson and Steve McCurry are the people I learn from in terms of techniques. I'm also mesmerized by Christopher Burkett's 8x10 slides and William Neill's style. Every so often, I balance these dramatic styles with some readings from Freeman Patterson to add an impressionist & subdued perspective. I'm not a photographer by trade but I use it to shift my focus from the demands of my job to something totally different: it helps me to keep my sanity and I enjoy visualizing things.
