About: Joe Plocki is an amateur photographer, among other things. His avid interest in photography began in November 2003, when he unwittingly held a small Toshiba digital camera to the eyepiece of the telescope he had received as a gift less than 24 hours earlier. Poor quality digital led to film, film led to photographing things on the same planet, the diversity of things around him led to 43 rolls of exposed film in the refrigerator, and the cost of processing drove him back to a digital SLR to cut down on expenses. But, he loves film, particularly Velvia, and still shoots it when he can. Until I recover from the purchase of the DSLR, I can't make a donation, so I can only post one a day right now.
