Beautiful color, Judi, and so sharply detailed. The feathers make an excellent background for the portrait.
I once received a pair of pea fowl as a birthday gift but the male escaped to parts unknown and the female also escaped but was "captured" by our Great Dane, who was quite proud of his catch. And the male had just started to get his color.
So much for peacock breeding...

Wow! The colors just leaps out on the bird, fortunate to have him spread his feathers while you were grabbing a bite, perhaps he wanted a piece of it (He,He). Excellent capture as always, cheers.

This beautiful creature framed himself perfectly for you and you captured him in glorious color and focused details. Haven't seen too many shots that were this close and this rich in color.
