I like the creative lighting in addition to the soft glow shinning on her arm through the veil. Mixed lighting is all way?s one of the leading challenges when dealing with churches. I like the cross in the background but I?m not comfortable with the blue light from the stained glass underneath it, I might have either added more color or got rid of it in post process. It?s a beautiful pose but her expression is a bit static. I think the reflection of the piano works here. The only other thing is that my eye keeps moving towards the right of the frame where that wall ends. I?m not sure if cropping it out would upset the balance of the composure or not, cloning it out might be an option. This is a beautiful, classic wedding shot and I think it?s a 6. Well done. ~Mike
It's a very nice portrait, Phillip. The only comment I have about the cross is that it's so bright that it makes the statement about the subject that she is a very religious or spiritual person. If it's true, then, bravo. If not, you might want to tone its brightness down.
Great job with the lighting. You never realize how difficult it is to successfully accomplish this type of shot until you start trying to do something similar. Very well done.
