Great minimalist landscape. I love how sharp the foreground is, framing the picture, and the dense fog shaping around the mountain. Wonderful mood and great cropping (tree in the picture corner). Very peaceful image, due to the wonderful greys.

Thanks for your visit, Giorgio. I love the old Piero. I have seen many of his paintings in the Uffizi, Milano, Urbino, even in London. Great artist with his pale pastels and curious perspective. COn cari auguri, Gyorgy

Wonderful atmosphere Gyorgy, i like it a lot! Impressive how you were able to build such a magical atmosphere with so few elements! Great eye indeed! Just out of curiosity, i read in your bio " I teach literary and cultural theory as well as Renaissance art at the University of Szeged" so, what's your opinion about my "ancient" fellow citizen Piero della Francesca? Hope you don't mind, but i'm too curious about ;-) cheers, Giorgio

Ötletes kép, valószinüleg nem kockáztatam volna meg, pedig jól hozza a hegyi hangulatot. Endre
