You were right not to trash it. Shots of lizards are too great not to post. I love lizards. They make such wonderful subjects as they have 2 speeds. Fast and stop. This one does have fantastic colours. I love the composition in this one. I'm going through your portfolio at random now. I really enjoy your photos.

Will try out, but unfortunately have to do it at a Luxembourgish and less colourful animal :-(

these colors are very nice. the focus point does a nice job of showing the texture of his skin, but my eyes would prefer to see focus on HIS eye.

with D70 i often focus on eye, push and hold exposure/focus lock button, and then reposition camera to place subject in frame.
