I don't go for butterflies (because they are difficult to catch) but THIS ONE is a masterpiece!!! The butterfly is very impressive, a representative specimen (maybe a Prince in their world or even a King!)The design on the wing is unbelievable, the tonality is superb, colours marry so well the piece of wood to which the insect holds on.The golden-orage background is such a good find (I like strong colours) for the browns and beiges of the butterfly. And so very clear!I definitely put it on my favourites list! My compliments, dear Chris!

this one poped in my eyes right away. What a beautiful detail. if I was in charge this would definitely be a candidate for BIP. Sure many people take macros of butterflies, but his is really special. The torn edges and colors, very nice one.
