Hi Inji! Well, in January it would be frozen solid and covered in about 2 to 5 metres of snow!! with temps of say -20 to -40?C. Glad I am not there at that time of year. Thanks for your comments, Inji my friend. Cheers, Gary (o;

I see what you mean, Gary! From that angle it doesn't look like much! Thanks for going to the trouble!

Hi Ann... well, when I lived up on Baffin, I used to mail out my rolls of film. If I was lucky I had them back in a week, but usually it was a 2 or 3 week turn around. With my summer trips to the Yukon, I just hang onto the rolls until I get back home... tends to make for lots of digitizing at the end of the summer!! Thanks for the comments. Gary

and for Kathy and David... that picture that I forgot to add on to my reply to Kathy.... d'oh!! (i always do that...)

Hi Kathy... ok, here's a similar picture from a bit further back. The hills around this little pond aren't too spectacular, hence the reason for the tighter crop. It's also not a very big pond as you can see! Thanks for your comments. Gary

I see where you are going with this one Gary. The shapes in the frozen reflection pond are almost like a mismatched jig saw puzzle. Interesting effect. Lovely tones.

Question for you. How do you ever get all your photos developed when you always seem to be in these amazing remote locations which look like it would take you months to return from? I know...you're an alien with transporter abilities. (sorry - just being silly)

Cheers - Ann :)

Agree with Kathy. It's a great reflection shot and the blue tones are beautiful. It would be nice to see more of the hilltops. Thanks for sharing.

Nice reflection shot, Gary! I would love to see the tops of those hills in this. The blues here are so nice!
