I like the presentation and how you treated Chihuly's work as a photographic subject. The framing is bit heavy for me, although the black really sets off the colorful glass forms beautifully. I'll bet this looks awesome printed at a large scale.

The minute i saw the image, i was like
emm this reminds of chihuly's work a lot
and then noticed the title.
i like the crop and the way you arranged
the shots together, very nice framing.
Chihuly is one of my favourite contemporary
Artists, his work is very inspiring and
filled with life. A statement i read for him
has been always a key to my work. He said once:
"Do not Draw the tree the way you see it, but
the way you feel it"

I was wondering when we were going to get to see some shots from Vegas! I love it! I have some old shots of these Chihuly pieces from the Bellagio floating around somewhere, probably in some old shoebox, but I'm sure that none of them are this great.

WOW!!! You've really captured these wonderful glass flowers superbly. I have a few photos of this ceiling but my shots didn't come out anywhere near as nice as these. Yours really show the translucency in the glass and gorgeous curves in the craftmanship. The colours are beautiful. Great job Susie and I know the lighting is difficult there. Another hit! It's been years since I have been to Vegas, but after seeing this image and others from Vegas that have been posted on usefilm, I think it might be time for another trip. Hopefully, of wonderful images like the one you have captued here vs losing my wages.
The colors in the glass and the lighting is fantastic.
It's wonderful the way you have presented this with the black framing and the four images. It gives of sense that you are looking at a piece of stained glass.
I can image what a beautiful sight this is to see in person.

Hi Susie, OH-My_G! I was just about to turn off the UF - (hard to do!) and I spotted this wonderful, absolutely fantastic creation of yours! This is going to be my last comment until Tuesday. I just couldn't resist! You didn't have to give me yet another dedication, I'm so honored by this! One of my favorite artists photographed by one of my favorite photographers! Superb composition and colors, goes without saying into my favorites! It looks like jelly fish and underwater plant forms, the transparency and the hues are incredible. And the way you selected them, cropped them and arranged them, they look like a book cover for Chihuly! Also, they look like a lightbox, these would be fantastic on a transparency, blown up, mounted and backlit. Would make a great lighting art object on a wall! About 3ft x 3ft, would do! Super! Amazing! And thank you!!! I love it! Ina
