This is a great series Marco. I had to put this one into my favourites. I love it. Again great control over your lighting. I like the grain. It gives a nice moody feel to the shot. Great work.
Cheers - Ann :)

really impressive. I like so much the contrast of the still water with moving water with this special light night flashes. Thank you

grazie, patrizio, anche se direi che con un portfolio come il tuo non hai proprio nulla di cui vergognarti... :)
a proposito... questo non è ponte milvio!

I like the handheld shot better that brings out the roughness in the waters ....
and I love grainy photos too ....

La trovo eccellente. Carica e calda con i suoi colori dei lampioni notturni che riflettono nel fiume in incessante corsa. E' semplicemente Splendida! Fra le mie prefeirte di sicuro. A presto Simona ;)

Dramatic picture ? so many individual light flares competing for the viewers attention. Also there is motion, energy, in the way the water shows up. And that?s the clincher in the shot ? how a quite night scene delivers so much activity. I really like your second upload as well ? partial because I tend to square frame most shots and that approach works fine here. In fact I think a bit more sky in the original would probably enrich the presentation, not only because the shot would look less constrained, but more oxygen, more sky, would flesh out more of the night and place the scene in bigger canvas. I don?t mean to be nitpicking ? not in the least ? both pictures stand out very fine indeed. Just as they are.
Cheers, C

the grain is very cool here as is the interesting way the light has been collected and reflected by the waves in the water. cool stuff!

of course! i love long exposure. there are even two guys walking on the bridge... that is the only way i like to catch traces of human presence... blurry and transparent like ghosts...

That is great. Isn't it interesting how much fuller the colors are in the longer, lower-iso exposure?

Un'altra splendida foto di questo ponte. In questa versione sembra "rovente".

In spite of the grain I like this shot very much! 1600 ASA??? My camera only lets me shoot at 400 maximum :(. Congrats, Marco, I really like it.

Bravo marco,
Excellent. The wide angle lens and all the tilted and wraped lines makes the picture. The light is good and brings out the night very well toghter with the that light coming from behind.
regards,
Khalid

This is great - love the two hidden lights, but I think you ought to go back and unpack your tripod the next time :-) The water would look great too if you used a 1s+ exposure... Sometimes I prop up the camera on a rail and trip the self-timer when I need a little support.
