So, who but you would think opf making a series about straws? I use straws all the time and never realized how attractive and interesting they are. I'll be looking at them in a whole new way. Your series is grand. I really am enjoying your shots.

Hi John? Cary Shaffer?s idea absolutely perfect to your creation ? This piece ?belongs? in an ice cream parlor. It would make a very cool kitchen poster as well. It should actually be marketed somehow - it's whimsical, and light, and fun. Really!

You are really on to something with this idea, John. I love this one - it's great fun. The bright colours and repeating shapes are wonderful. Did you arrange the colours or are they random? I ask because of the orange just creeping into the image at the top. It looks to be a strong colour and would perhaps look even better in the middle of the green patch.
