yes the manual focus is usually hard with moving people, digital AF have made it much easier, so we could concentrate on other things like the aperture and shutter speed. this is a very good composition shot, and sure i guess it is better in B&W, well done
Oh, by the way.. I have been very undecesive about the whole film/digital story.. But after trying out my friends cannon 300D I have taken a big step towards a digital system camera.. So, when ever I got the money I will probably invest them in one.. I will however keep shooting b&w with my current 'trotjänare' as we say in sweden, old pal you might say, the minolta x700 that i inherited from my grandfather. I really like that camera, and especially the lens I got a year ago, the 135mm 2.8 that I think is quite sharp.. But shooting with a manual focus is hard, especially when you try to take spontaneous photos of people, people does have a tendency to move around which complicates matters..
