About This is a repost of a shot that i took in a storm a few months ago, also in my portfolio. This time i messed with the colour temperature and reduced it by quite a lot, and sharpened the image some.

Id appreciate your comments.

Regards

hey what a great story of gridlock as well all the cars leaving town are moving ..all those headed towards you are still..and PS leave the powerlines in there.. they are a fact of life.. we must as real photographers and not PS experts deal with reality not image "making"

Again, thanks very much MArco. Im still not quite happy with this one though. I think im gonna try to sharpen it up some more. The building on the left just looks a little fuzzy to me.

Regards and thanks for your comments. They are much appreciated.

The bolts of lighting and motion of the flowing traffic and colours including the red tail lights makes for a very fine photograph

You realy captured a very beautiful shot. The blue sky with the lgihting is just the beginning. You got a great exposure with beautiful colors. I find having the stream of car lights really lets you know how fast thgis scene really is. Keep up the good work.

This is very cool. I of course like the captured bolts but the exposed lighting has so many to choose from.

Nice work!!

This is very cool. The colors really make this. I like the twinkly lights mixed with the streaked ones. Nicely composed, the perspective is amazing. Well done, a fav~

Stupendo notturno, i colori sono qualcosa di fantastico in questa foto.

Cheers John, The power lines are indeed still there!!! Im not skilled enough in PS to mess with that kind of stuff, and to be honest i prefer to try to get in right in the camera, though i am experimenting with messing around.

Thanks for your time to look, i also think that the coulours in this one make it a little more striking.

Regards

This is really quite impressive - a great lightning shot AND a great night scene. The colours really pop in this version and yet remain realistic. But the power lines are still there (though I don't find them intrusive - in fact I only really noticed them because you drew attention to them on the original image!)
