I think it's a bit on the colourful side too now - I run images through a photoshop action called "velvia" and that brings the colour out... went a bit too far with this one!!!
I've got the un-velvia version which I'kll re-size and post if I've not got 3 nerw shots to post today. Just seems a waste of a post if you post the same thing twice when there's other new stuff to share.
On the full size image you can see water droplets on the reeds at the front - it's impressively detailed cause it was taken in RAW format.

as you stated, I wish the image was larger... hard to see the details of the image.. I love the composition and the scene, a very beautiful landscape... I think the colors are a bit too saturated and actually distract from the photo a little... but, maybe in a larger version they would look fine... nice capture and would love to go there...

Hardknott Pass? Now that is some place. Gotta give the 4X4 a test up there soon and try to get a shot as powerful as this Ade. Great colouring with your trademark blurred water. This puts me in mind of the place on the opening shots to Heartbeat. Been there too!!!

I had a friend that took his shot off within 24hrs and it didn't count against him so he just uploaded the new one. You do lose the comments though. Fine shot marra can't wait for the do over.
