Yeah, this bad boy is parked out at a small airport, and I came to a screeching halt when I saw it.

Interesting modern still life - works well in sepia. Tack-sharp, nice format, tones are spot-on.
Cheers
Carsten

As a former TV weatherman, and life-long weather freak, I ALSO love storms!

Did you see my favorite storm photo since I got my new camera?

Paul,

What a blast from the past my friend. I still remember having Civil Defence Drills in grade school as a child.

We had to get out of the classroom and go into the halls, sit on the floor, place our hands over our heads and tuck our heads down between our legs...

Thank you for the sweet memories, because I thought it was fun. I also love storms...

Keep up the Awesome work my friend,

Marty

Hi Paul, I think sepia conveys the point you are making better. Good details & contrast. Great idea. :-) Well done.

good choice of tone to give that antiquated look...like the contrast level,too...i think many of us now know not to wait for "those in charge" to rescue us in an organized and timely fashion..."Be prepared" are wise words to take seriously...regards,gayle

I agree with you. This thing looks like its been sitting there rusting for a century. Unfortunately the words that go with this image bring up something that has bothered me forever now...

Looks like something in need of maintaining. I hope we learned we need to be prepared and with operable equipment. Well done Paul.
