Great shot with the 100-400IS.. the 20D combination works great... I even shot some stuff at 3200-ISO (H) and was very surprised how well it came out
Keep up the good work

Thanks for your comment.
You won't believe but that vegetation on the bottom right is actually the upper part of a eucalyptus more than 100 yards away from this hawk. But you are right, since like she is approaching the branch of a tree.
Take care.

Dear Arton,
Thanks very much for taking your time and commenting on this shot.
This is a female red tailed- hawk. Altought I love these guys I wish would have been an eagle.
Take care.

Absolutely wonderful shot Yamil... I love the look in her eyes, as much as her body language... Wonderful clarity... Congrats on a tough shot!

Perfect shot Yamil. Excellent pose - not too sure about the vegetation on the bottom-right, but maybe it gives the idea that the eagle is closing in, either to grasp onto a tree branch or a potential meal. Brilliant! I'd expect something like this in a wildlife magazine.

Beautiful capture of the bronze colour and details in the wing! There even seems to be a little blur of motion in there too!
