Hi Bjorn, I like the mood, but I agree with Toshi. One other thing only because I paint (oils, pastel, etc) they tell us when setting up a still life to have odd number of things in the picture. So since you have dead space to the right of the candle it would have been nice to have a small thing sitting there on the table. Varying the size from the other two objects you have. Does that make sense? Just some thoughts. Play with the arrangement and see. :)Pat

There is a good atmosphere created by the flame of the candle here. Although I think the composition is a bit too tight - perhaps a little more space to show off more shadows could be effective. Just my thoughts.
