You carried over into the digital age what you learned back from the wet darkroom days and film cameras. That's why I always suggest to people that they should start the way we did.

Chris, thanks for stopping by ! Dont forget the overlap you need for seamless stitching. Two landscapes are just right for a square format pano. BTW, PtGui for Panotools was just updated, great software !

Hi Carsten, I enjoy this wide-angle breath of fresh air. I have a question though. Was this cropped to a square ratio after the stitching? I am assuming that two horizontal 2:3 images would produce a image with a ratio of 4:3 (4 tall, 3 wide). But this is square, so I am assuming a crop from the top & bottom after the stitch? Regardless, nice use of limited color in the foreground and the nicely rendered sky and clouds,

Cheers,
Chris

Stefan, you are right. With this lens you must take care not to see your feet in the viewfinder ;-) My shadow @ the bottom, I tried out a color dodge brush there, but decided to let it unchanged.

Cheers

I like how the meadow looks endless! A lovely summery picture with gorgeous colours and flowers - the only thing I?d like to be removed is the grass in the middle of the foreground :)

Very beautiful Carsten. I don't know, and might be it's just my taste, but I feel like it is a bit too sharpened. In any case really a beautiful view

Beautiful work! I really like the perspective of the wildflowers. I have tried stitching two wide angle shots together in PS but never could do it successfully because of the curvature of the lens. Great job as always.
