Yes, I think you're right, Roger. Sadly her second husband died just a couple of years ago, but Brenda is still very active in the church, I believe at St. Aldhelms. Best regards, Chris

Chris, that would be Brenda, I think. If it's the lady I am thinking of, she was widowed--her husband was a very fine leader who died very young. He was the one who first invited me to assist. She later married one of the men who had been assisting in the missions. I don't know whether to be sad or relieved she didn't remember me! I know they all remarked what a difference a year in Bible College had made!! (I THINK they meant it was an improvement--there was plenty of room for it...)

I like this colour version, Roger, with its greens and peaches. A nice angle on the statue, too. Best regards, Chris P.S. I was speaking at the Wessex Bible Festival yesterday and a lady came and told me that she and her husband used to organize the CSSM mission on Weymouth beach! She said that she remembered me and my two brothers and that I was the naughty one!!!! I mentioned your name, but she couldn't place it. Her name was Phillips, though I've forgotten her first name I'm afraid.

This is a really nice composition Roger. I like the small child's arm reaching up into the sky.
John wishing you well.

You've captured the colour, and particularly, the texture of this fine statue, superbly, Roger. Good perspective with the building corner and overhang, and effective framing from the foliage. You've succeeded in conveying the sculptor's emotion, through this image.
Thanks for your comments, much appreciated, Roger.
