I agree totally with you Ameed... My camera came with 28-200mm lens which I found that it's a bad one, most of the photos are soft especially on high focal lengths.
The 50mm f/1.8 lens is a great lens, it's a masterpiece and gives superb sharp photos that couldn't be put in comparison with the new lenses.

BTW, I discovered it is never about the camera alone, It is matter of lens as well. If have the best camera and average lens, it wont do you a good deal,
That exactly what happened with me in the church, all the lenses I had were very soft and slow. I borrowed Fadel's lens, the 50mm 1.8 and the picture came crystal clear,
So after that day, I purchased a faster lens,
Tamron 28-75 2.8,
Still didn't take it out, but from the home based trials .. it is really good :)
