The close-up of the hand rail does provide visual guidance and it anchors the picture, as long as it does not block the scenery... And I like the wood pattern in the exposed rail pole.

I on the other hand love the close up of the hand rail. It accentuates the near/far and high/low perspectives. Kinda makes me dizzy to tell the truth. Great idea, ...wonderful!
