About	I'm posting a series of three alternate versions of this today that I've been working on in PS. I'd appreciate any comments on which crop or version you prefer and why. This version has had only minor sharpening and color adjustments. I realize the direct flash on the face is a bit harsh, but right now I'm limited to the onboard flash if I want to take advantage of shooting TTL. Onboard flash fired at -0.7ev Handheld

This picture has beautiful colors. His skin glows and his eyes sparkle. In this photo I think the focal point is Hans himself (as opposed to his eyes).
I think the crop really depends on what you want to say about the picture.

I like the cropping and natural tones in this version. Showing more of the stone wall gives it a stronger environmental context for the subject, and (I think) makes his expression more poignant. Very fine and engaging photo.
