About These benches were recently installed in a little shelter along my favorite path. It is firmly bloted to a concrete slab, but still it was deemed necessary to add a chain. I think that is sad.

Muy buena idea, nos cuenta una historia en pocos elementos, felicidades

Great shot. Great message - a sad commentary of what we as a society have become in just a short time. When you and I were growing up, something like this was unheard of, and we lived with opened windows and unlocked doors. What has happened to our world, Del?

Sad indeed Del, but a great sharp shot of them

I agree with you, Del. It is a shame that things have to be bolted and chained to avoid theft.
I really likle the colours and detail in your Butterfly picture.

Agreed Del. What a world we live in these days when even items of commemoration are not respected.

Very true, at my work we have a shelter and table to sit at, the table is chained down even though it is situated along a busy highway!

It is sad in what it signifies and I see it all the time, as well, Del. Nice shot conveying a sad lonliness.

You're right, Del, it seems everything has to be nailed down and chained these days. I like your shot of the benches, though, it looks like they are the type that people can use to commemorate someone.
Dave.

When I saw the thumbnail, I thought it was sad there was no one sitting there. But now I see what is REALLY sad.
