About I 'dropped in' the seat and the lavender but, apart from that, this is exactly how I took it! :o)

Have a great day!! (Or, if it's nearly over, a great tomorrow!)

Best regards to all,

Sorry Al, your reference to the "dropped in" seat led me to think that you thought I'd added the seat but not the lavender! No matter! It's always good to have a smile ~ it's one of the things that makes this site even more enjoyable!! )
Have a great weekend!

Hehe... I did get it Chris (refer the Porky!)... but I suspect you missed my humour in the reply! ;-)

Be nice to see you again sometime...

Sounds you like you missed my subtle ironic humour, too, Alastair! ) In actual fact, the scene is exactly as I took it! nothing added, nothing taken away ~ apart from the obvious crop to a 2:1 panaorama. Just me having a bit of fun! ) Tee, hee!!
Best regards, Chris

Hmmm... droppped in the seat and the lavender Chris? Ok, so I know you are a master of PSCS but if that was what you dropped in there is nothing much else left of the original... so I suspect a slight porky here.....!!!
Well composed and presented Chris - the contrast of the dropped in seat against the original wall is very effective.

I've noticed you seem to get up and down the country almost as much as I do Chris so next time you're up nr Lancaster make sure to 'drop in' for a coffee!

Don't quite understand your 'about' message. You mean the seat and lavender are all photoart against the brick wall?!
Could have fooled me - nearly :)

I was about to say that awhile back, I visited a lavender farm in Jersey - seeing this picture brought back the wonderful smell of the farm :)

What a lovely image however it was put together. I suppose you could manually carry those items there as a prop, but why hurt your back? :) Beautiful photo.

I think this is your most effective style...the "very British, quiet, peaceful and contemplative" look.....works well for me, Chris...I can almost smell the lavander.

Well done
