It was called Casole d'Elsa, some 30km SW of Siena (near Colle d'Elsa). Surely worthwhile visiting, as are the neighbouring villages Colle d'Elsa, Monterrigione and Certaldo.

Superb Peter! Love the repeating patterns caused by the warches overhead. Also like the inclusion of the silhouetted person to give a sense of movement and scale to the image. Well done getting such a good shot in very difficult lighting conditions!
