About The Koeberg Nuclear power station on the west coast of South Africa. A lot of debate is going on worldwide over the pro's and con's of different technolgies for providing us with energy. each one of those have its positves and negatives. Lets just hope the people making the decisions has the vision and will to make the correct and best choices to ensure our survival and that of our grand, grand children.

Taken in the late afternoon, into the sun. Conversion to B&W, contrast enhancement and grain added for effect in PS.

Interesting and also somehow "scary" silhoutte?s. Without reading any about i got the feeling that this are a industry area and that the air are very polluted. Maby i?m so WRONG! Hm, not so far away!
Anyway - you captured mood and a interesting silhouette!

Thanks for the comment Tjaart - very valid. In this instance I placed the power station almost in the middle since it is such a strong issue of division in our society. I then tried to balance the glare on the beach with the clouds. The footsteps are an imp[ortant element since it leads us into a situation from where there is no apparent escape. Hope it clarifies.

I like the combination of fluffy clouds and sparkly beach broken up by the sharp silhouettes, and I like the way the power station is shrouded in mist too.
Great contrast - super shot.

Joggie as stated elsewhere, excellent work and preparation, all coming together to provide excellent story, atmosphere and mood.

However, I would like to see more clouds and less sand, so for me the horison cuts the photo in half - trying to force you into rule of thirds i guess....
